Server Support Engineer

As a Server Support Engineer at Inspirisys, you will play a crucial role in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization's server infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting server-related issues, ensuring system performance, and maintaining the availability and security of server environments. Collaborating with other IT teams, you will support mission-critical applications, monitor server operations, apply patches and updates, and contribute to disaster recovery planning and data backup management. Your expertise in Windows Server, virtualization platforms, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and enterprise monitoring systems will be key in ensuring optimal server performance and uptime. Key Responsibilities: - Experience in Windows Server installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and best practices. - Proficiency with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix XenServer. - Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving Windows Server issues, root cause analysis, and configurations. - Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and ticketing systems. - Knowledge of server backups, restores, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and scripting for task automation. - Exposure to disaster recovery planning. Qualification: - Any UG/PG degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Windows server support. - Excellent communication skills. - Preferred ITIL Certification.
