Senior User Experience Consultant

As a UX Consultant with over 5 years of experience, your primary responsibility will involve conducting user research to gain deep insights into user needs, behaviors, and pain points. You will be expected to plan and execute various research methodologies such as usability testing, contextual inquiry, and surveys. Your role will also include translating research findings into actionable insights that will inform user flows, interaction design, and overall experience strategy for complex, data-rich applications. It will be essential to document your research methodologies and findings in clear and concise reports and presentations. In this role, you will lead the creation of user-centered designs for both established and greenfield enterprise-scale applications. You will tackle complex data visualization challenges and simplify intricate workflows to create intuitive and efficient user experiences. It will be crucial to ensure that your designs align with business goals, technical constraints, and accessibility standards. Your focus will be on designing for scalability, maintainability, and security within the enterprise environment. As a UX Consultant, you will be responsible for developing a range of design deliverables, including user flows, wireframes (low-fidelity and high-fidelity), and production-ready UI designs. You will utilize design tools like Figma to create and adhere to a comprehensive design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all applications. Validating design solutions through user testing and iterating based on feedback will also be a key aspect of your role. Effective communication and collaboration are essential in this position. You will need to communicate design rationale and advocate for user-centered design principles to diverse audiences, including product managers, engineers, senior stakeholders, and other designers. Presenting design work in a clear, compelling, and persuasive manner will be crucial.
