Senior Software Engineer, Web-UI Technologies

Job Description This is a full-time on-site role in Chennai for a Senior Software Engineer, specialized in UI and Web Technologies. The role involves tasks related to developing and implementing user interfaces for web applications at Infrascale. Responsibilities Software Development: Develop high-quality software solutions, adhering to coding standards and best practices. System Design: Participate in the design and architecture discussions, providing insights and suggestions for scalable and efficient system design. Feature Implementation: Implement new features and functionalities, ensuring they meet the requirements and are delivered within the specified timelines. Troubleshooting: Investigate and troubleshoot issues reported in production environments, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime. Code Review: Conduct and participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver comprehensive solutions. Documentation: Document code, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain system integrity. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and proactively suggest improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency. Requirements Bachelors Degree: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. 3+ years of work experience with JavaScript, jQuery 3+ years of work experience with React Web Technologies: Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the React framework. Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git and Mercurial, experience with branching strategies. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. Agile & DevOps : Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices Preferred Qualifications: Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like TeamCity, Jenkins, SonarQube. Testing: Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) is a plus.
