Position Summary... What youll do... About Team This role is part of the Walmart Global Marketplace team, specifically focusing on the Seller Onboarding journey. Marketplace is a key area for Walmart eCommerce, where third-party sellers can manage their items, fulfill customer orders, and navigate various seller journeys. The Onboarding team is primarily dedicated to enabling new sellers to join the platform and participate in exclusive programs. This role aims to accelerate our Seller Onboarding roadmap, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for more sellers. What Youll Do: Publish and update technical architecture and user/process documentation. Architect, design, build, and deploy cutting-edge solutions at scale, impacting millions of customers. Drive Proof of Concept (POC) and Proof of Technology (POT) evaluations. Provide technical mentorship and coaching to engineers, enhancing team deliverables by assessing risks, overcoming challenges, and offering technical guidance. Create and recommend solution design options, considering requirements, standards, and the current infrastructure environment. Communicate and present solutions to stakeholders. Interact with management and play a technical lead role in feature delivery. Review KPIs, monitoring, and alarms to ensure a successful production system. What Youll Bring: Expertise in architecture, design, development, and reviews. Experience navigating and implementing solutions at Walmarts scale across various business units. Interaction with a highly skilled community of architects to share and learn new technologies, scale, and performance. Hands-on experience in designing scalable solutions and working with Walmarts business and products. Development experience in sophisticated, scalable, and high-performing systems. Proficiency in leveraging open-source technologies using public clouds, mentoring engineers, presenting ideas to larger organizational groups, and fostering an independent team culture. An Engineering Degree (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MS) in any stream, preferably Computer Science. 6+ years of relevant experience in J2EE, Spring Boot, distributed systems, Kafka, with solid hands-on experience in multi-threading and functional programming. Strong understanding of CS fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving. Mandatory skills: Java, Spring Boot, microservices, cloud (Azure), Kubernetes, CI/CD, unit and functional test automation. Ability to lead and guide the team on technical aspects.
