Senior Software Engineer Team Lead

As a Senior Developer and Team Leader at our client's leading MNC in the shipping industry, based in Mumbai, you will have the opportunity to shape the internal software development initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee end-to-end software development activities, including defining technical vision, leading a high-performing software engineering team, and ensuring the delivery of robust web and mobile solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver intuitive digital solutions that drive innovation and operational efficiency. By promoting a strong engineering culture and implementing modern development practices, you will streamline delivery processes and enhance team engagement. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science or a relevant field, along with 8 to 10 years of experience in software engineering. Additionally, you should have 3+ years of experience in a team lead role within Agile environments and hands-on experience with JavaScript, Node.js, Java, React, AWS, and Docker. Experience with GenAI technologies, API architecture, and modern databases is essential. Strong leadership, mentoring, and collaboration abilities are required, and knowledge of microservices, TDD, and Ansible is a plus. Certifications in AWS, Azure, Agile, or Scrum Master will be advantageous.
