Job Description

Role & responsibilities This role will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the established quality standards. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in quality assurance and control, who can contribute to maintaining and improving product quality. Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance and Control: Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products. Conduct regular inspections, tests, and evaluations of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. Monitor and report on quality performance, identifying and addressing non-conformities. Process Improvement: Collaborate with the production team to develop and implement process improvements. Analyze quality data and recommend corrective actions to resolve quality issues and improve overall product quality. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including test results, inspection records, and reports. Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting key quality metrics and trends. Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support. Training and Development: Train and mentor production staff on quality standards and best practices. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and quality management techniques. Qualifications and Skills: B-Tech or Diploma in Metallurgy is a must 1-4 years of experience in quality assurance/control, preferably in the Steel manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and tools such as FMEA, SPC, and Six Sigma. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
