Senior QA Analyst

As a Senior QA Analyst at our company based in Noida, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high quality of our software applications through meticulous test planning, execution, and automation. With a minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance and testing, you will be expected to lead by example, guiding junior QA team members with your expertise in QA methodologies, manual and automated testing. Your responsibilities will include developing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test strategies, plans, and scripts across various platforms such as web, mobile, and desktop. You will lead and mentor junior QA team members, imparting testing best practices and methodologies. Managing functional, regression, performance, security, and API testing will be a key part of your role. Designing and implementing automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and reduce manual effort will also be a focus area. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, will be essential to ensure clarity in requirements and deliverables. Leading defect triage meetings and ensuring timely issue resolution by working closely with developers and stakeholders will be part of your routine. Maintaining test coverage across different phases of the SDLC and tracking key quality metrics and testing results will be crucial to project success. You will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with expertise in manual and automated testing, automation tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, and designing test automation frameworks. Strong understanding of various testing types, Agile and DevOps methodologies, SQL, and database testing will be essential. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, analytical skills, and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are required. Preferred skills include proficiency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Java), experience with cloud environments, performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner, familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), and knowledge of mobile testing and automation tools for mobile platforms.
