Job Description

As a market leader in the consumer banking business, DBS offers a full spectrum of products and services, including deposits, investments, insurance, mortgages, credit cards, and personal loans to assist customers at every life stage. The primary job purpose is to deliver exceptional volume and revenue performance by acquiring and engaging with DBS clients who have an AUM greater than or equal to INR 1 million through a need-based approach. The focus is to ensure client coverage and product penetration through cross-selling and up-selling of DBS products and services. Additionally, the role involves managing and maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction and service through proactive client engagement and relationship management, in collaboration with DBS Service, Distribution, and Product teams. Key responsibilities include acquiring and upgrading quality clients in branch locations to the Treasures segment, deepening wallet share of existing customers through retention and growth of AUM, achieving monthly and annual volume and revenue objectives, activating e-Channels, ensuring proper implementation of product strategies, developing client trust and loyalty, driving exemplary customer service, ensuring internal and regulatory compliance, and delivering exemplary service delivery through appropriate workflows and processes. Job duties and responsibilities involve establishing, managing, and growing the AUM of mapped client segments, continuous improvement in product and service knowledge, resolving customer queries and complaints within agreed TAT, collaborating with CBG colleagues and service teams, working closely with Line Managers to achieve common team and branch objectives, ensuring internal and regulatory compliance, and establishing DBS as a primary banker for clients in India. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a reputed bank with proficiency in banking products, in-depth knowledge of the local market and competition. Candidates with AMFI, IRDAI, FEDAI certifications, and BCSBI certification would be an added advantage. The education requirement is a Graduate degree.
