TCTS hiring for L2 Network Engineer (Nokia Devices, Firewall, Wireless, DDI) Experience: Minimum 3 Years Qualification: Graduation Support Level: L2 Location: Pune Shift: 24*7 (Night shifts included) Position: Permanent Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Level 2 Network Engineer with hands-on experience in managing and supporting Nokia networking devices, specifically models 7750, 7250, and 7220. The ideal candidate will also have exposure to firewall technologies, wireless infrastructure, and DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) components. A strong foundation in switching and routing protocols such as STP, BGP, and OSPF is essential. Key Responsibilities: Perform L2 troubleshooting and operational support for Nokia 7750 SR, 7250 IXR, and 7220 IXR platforms. Configure, monitor, and maintain network services and components across Nokia routers and switches. Manage and support firewall policies and configurations (vendor experience such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Check Point is a plus). Provide operational support for wireless infrastructure and DDI solutions (e.g., Infoblox, BlueCat). Work on routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, and switching technologies like STP. Collaborate with NOC, engineering, and architecture teams to resolve incidents and implement changes. Document network topologies, procedures, and configurations. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to high-priority issues. Ensure network performance, availability, and security standards are consistently met. Required Skills and Qualifications: 3 to 7 years of experience in networking roles. Hands-on experience with Nokia 7750, 7250, and 7220 platforms (including CLI and SR OS knowledge). Solid understanding of L2/L3 networking concepts. Proficiency in routing protocols: BGP, OSPF; and switching: STP, VLANs, etc. Experience with firewalls and security rules management. Familiarity with DDI (DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management) tools. Exposure to enterprise wireless technologies. Good documentation and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in engineering (BE) or equivalent CCNA or CCNP will be preferred. ITIL knowledge or certification preferred.
