Job Title: Senior Microservices Engineer / Microservices Developer

Job Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Microservices Engineer who will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highperformance microservice architectures. You'll work closely with product owners, solution architects, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver cloud-native and containerized applications.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy microservices-based applications using best practices and patterns

Write clean, testable, and efficient API services (REST)

Collaborate across teams to define requirements, participate in architecture discussions, and conduct code reviews

Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices (e.g. Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes) .

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize microservices performance in production environments

Document service designs, API contracts, and deployment processes

Mentor and guide junior developers in microservices design, testing, and deployment

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree in CS or related field (or equivalent experience).

3+ years in software development focused on microservices architecture

Strong programming proficiency in Python, Django,AWS API Gateway, Lambda.

Solid experience with RESTful API design, event-driven patterns, and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) .

Proficient in Docker and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, ECS/EKS)

Familiarity with AWS cloud platform.

Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, caching layers, and data management in distributed systems.

Solid grasp of distributed systems concepts: service discovery, resilience patterns, circuit breakers, eventual consistency

Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities; experience with agile methodologies.
