Job Role:

Lead – Code & Database Optimization, Code Review, Sentinel License Manager, Professional Services & POC Implementation

The Lead will play a cross-functional technical leadership role, responsible for driving code quality, system performance, licensing integration, client solution delivery, and innovation testing. This role blends deep technical proficiency with strategic customer engagement and product innovation responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Code Review & Optimization

• Lead the organization-wide code review process to ensure adherence to secure, scalable, and maintainable coding standards.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimization strategies at the code level.
• Promote clean architecture principles, refactoring, and modular design across teams.
• Mentor developers on industry-standard practices and emerging technologies.

2. Database Optimization

• Analyze database queries, structures, and indexes to identify performance inefficiencies.
• Drive improvements in schema design, data normalization, indexing, and query optimization.
• Work with backend developers and DBAs to maintain high-performing, scalable database environments.
• Recommend and implement monitoring tools to track DB performance metrics.

3. Sentinel License Manager Implementation

• Lead the integration and management of the Sentinel License Manager (SLM) for software licensing.
• Configure licensing models (e.g., trial, subscription, floating) in alignment with business needs.
• Ensure license enforcement, metering, and reporting are robust and secure.
• Work with product and sales teams to implement flexible licensing strategies and fulfill compliance needs.

4. Professional Services Delivery

• Engage with enterprise clients to understand technical requirements and lead solution implementation.
• Customize and deploy product features, APIs, and integrations in varied client environments.
• Provide expert-level support during onboarding, migrations, and escalated deployments.
• Document client-specific solutions, configurations, and architecture blueprints.

5. POC for New Features/Product

• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to design and deliver proof-of-concept (POC) implementation and/or work and create team for new product
• Rapidly prototype and validate new features or integrations based on market and client demands.
• Provide feedback loops to influence product roadmap and feature enhancements.
• Develop demo setups and evaluation toolkits for internal and client-side validation.

6. Cross-Team Technical Leadership

• Serve as a bridge between engineering, QA, DevOps, and support for seamless delivery and optimization.
• Author technical documentation, solution guides, optimization manuals, and best practices.
• Train internal stakeholders and client technical teams on new systems and features.
