Role & responsibilities

Legal officer should be up to date with the regulatory requirement of the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA)/ Karnataka Real Estate Authority.

- Conducting detailed pre-execution review exercises including due-diligence and outlining the contractual obligations

Contractual agreements with Manpower Agency/Labour Contractor covering all aspects of labour laws regulating relations between the Principal and Agent; Licensor and the Licensee.

- Drafting / vetting / perusing / modifying various property documents such as Letter of Intent, Memorandum of Understanding, Power of Attorney, Services Contracts, Procurement Contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Addendums, Development Agreement, Agreement of Sale, Conveyance Deed, Lease Deed, Leave & License, Memorandum of Entry and Declaration Cum Confirmations, Indenture of Mortgage. Documentation & co-ordination with the Company appointed Solicitors, Lawyers

Complete pending purchase/sale agreements and create closing checklists for all Real estate/Retail sales.

Coordination and assisting all internal Departments like Administration, Human Resource, Finance & Accounts, Marketing, etc. for due compliances of legal requirements including liaison with all Regulatory Departments connected with the project to ensure total compliance with Rules & Regulations to mitigate chances of dispute/litigation.

Represent in proceedings before administrative authorities and Courts.

Candidate with Real Estate is compulsory and Mumbai/Bangalore resident preferred.
