Senior Java Software Engineer

As a Senior Java Developer specializing in Spring Boot and backend systems, you will be an integral part of our expanding engineering team. With 46 years of hands-on development experience, you will play a key role in designing and developing scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and other related technologies. Your proactive and solution-driven mindset will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet our architectural standards. Your responsibilities will include owning the entire development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance. Collaborating with architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the optimization of application performance, reliability, and scalability. Additionally, you will be expected to write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards, conduct code reviews, and provide mentorship to junior developers as needed. To excel in this role, you should have a strong command of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and RESTful API development. Your proficiency in object-oriented programming, design principles, and architectural patterns will be vital in ensuring the successful integration of backend systems with databases, third-party APIs, and frontend applications. Experience with build tools, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and relational databases will further enhance your ability to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. While not mandatory, experience with Microservices architecture, Cloud platforms, containerization/orchestration tools, unit testing frameworks, and security best practices will be considered advantageous.
