Senior II - Software Engineer

Job Description

1. Execute POCs and document FDDs/IDDs with structured design and pseudocode. 2. Estimate effort for development, testing, and deployment. 3. Analyze system behavior via hands-on testing, data review, and code execution. 4. Design optimized databases and contribute to system architecture (Microservices, AWS, Docker). 5. Write clean, well-commented code explaining logic decisions. 6. Follow structured naming conventions and apply efficient data structures. 7. Conduct developer testing to minimize QA-reported defects. 8. Perform code reviews and maintain high-quality coding standards. 9. Ensure on-time delivery while minimizing downtime in deployments. 10. Plan and execute migrations, upgrades, and system improvements. 11. Implement DevSecOps best practices (Vulnerability, License, Security Management). 12. Monitor production deployments, analyze system metrics, and resolve issues. 13. Mentor junior developers and review code & test cases. 14. Participate in system design discussions and cross-team collaborations. 15. Evaluate new frameworks & technologies, ensuring seamless CI/CD integration. 16. Assess open-source tools for compliance, security, and long-term support. Qualifications 1. Bachelor??s or Master??s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Required Skills 1. 4+ years of experience in software development. 2. Strong expertise in Python, Django, RabbitMQ and RESTful API development. 3. Experience building applications as microservices on Docker 4. Solid knowledge of database design (PostgreSQL) and query optimization. 5. Experience dealing with large data sets in databases 6. Strong problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of system performance and debugging. 7. Proven experience or willingness to adopt AI-assisted development workflows using tools like Cursor/Windsurf/VSCode + GitHub Copilot 8. Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools for rapid prototyping, debugging, documentation, and performance tuning. 9. All proofs of concept (POCs) and implementations must integrate AI-driven methodologies to maximize development efficiency and quality. Nice to Have Skills & Experience 1. Familiarity with AI/ML, Big Data, or real-time processing systems. 2. Experience in GraphQL, or event-driven architectures. 3. Contributions to open-source projects.
