Senior Software Developer (.NET Fullstack Developer)
The Team:
Primary mandate of the CIQ Platform team is to maintain the performance and stability of the Capital IQ platform which is very critical to thecontinued success of the Desktop business. As we continue to monitor platform health, items areidentified that require further optimization to ensure our production systems remainhealthy and we provide uninterrupted service to our clients.
Ensure that the CIQ Platform is substantiallystabilized. Plan critical Maintenance activities. Execute required enhancement of features andmodernizations of technology/infrastructure. Improve DR RTO / RPO & build foundation for later phases. Provide round the clock support (both for Internaland External Users)
Also ensure the Platform is scalable for the increased usage growth, modernize where necessary, perform mandatory maintenance, BAU and general systems upkeeping. Improve Disaster Recovery/High Availability posture and ultimately migrate the CiQ platform to Cloud. The team works in a challenging environment that gives ample opportunities to use innovative ideas to solve complex problems. Responsibilities:
Design and develop software based on business requirements, workflows and use cases; execute and maintain the test cases and document test results. Cloud Migration of CIQ infrastructure and legacy technologies. Drive the setup, configuration, and maintenance of environment and framework. Actively participate in continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures by analyzing reported bugs/issues with a strong emphasis on using automation to shorten the SDLC. Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in Agile software development environment. Mentoring & providing technical guidance to team members. Provide effective communication regarding issues, testing status and potential risks. Eager to learn new technologies and approaches and be part of a very progressive test team.
What Were Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or Engineering is required. A minimum of 6- 8 years of experience building web applications and experience with this .NET technologies (C#, .NET Framework 4.0 and above, MS SQL, jQuery, JavaScript, GIT, AWS windows support and automation), Restful API. Have good experience working with SQL Server. Familiarity with frameworks such as Angular JS, React JS, Java script (Flexible) Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test- driven development. Excellent problem-solving & troubleshooting skills. Good to haveExperience working in cloud computing environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Good to haveexperience implementingWeb Services (with WCF, RESTful JSON, SOAP, TCP), Windows Services, and Unit Tests
