Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer within the Analytics & Information Management (AIM) team based in Gurugram, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing data analytics solutions to support key business objectives for Legal Operations under the Chief Operating Office (COO). Your responsibilities will include implementing optimized data processes/platforms, delivering impactful insights, and fostering a data-driven culture within the organization. You will be expected to support Business Execution activities within the Chief Operating Office by implementing data engineering solutions to manage banking operations. This will involve establishing monitoring routines, scorecards, and escalation workflows, as well as overseeing Data Strategy, Smart Automation, Insight Generation, Data Quality, and Reporting activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting data requirements, data collection/processing/cleaning, and implementing data visualization techniques. In this role, you will need to interface between business and technology partners to digitize data collection processes, build Data Strategy by identifying relevant product processors, and create Data Lake, Data Pipeline, Governance & Reporting frameworks. You will also be responsible for communicating findings and recommendations to senior management, staying updated on industry trends, ensuring compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements, and setting up a governance operating framework for data domains. To be successful in this position, you should have at least 5 years of experience in Business Transformation Solution Design roles with proficiency in tools such as Python, PySpark, Tableau, MicroStrategy, and SQL. You should also possess a strong understanding of Data Transformation, Data Strategy, Data Architecture, Data Tracing & Lineage, Platform Integration, ETL & Smart Automation, and database management & optimization. Additionally, experience in developing and deploying AI solutions, interacting with senior stakeholders, and thought leadership in Financial/Business Analysis would be beneficial. You will work as a senior member within a team of data engineering professionals, collaborating to deliver on organizational priorities and drive substantial business results through your expertise in data analytics and solution design. A bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM field is required for this role.
