Key Responsibilities : - Architect, build, and optimize Django-based APIs and services. - Define and enforce backend best practices, coding standards, and security protocols. - Lead integrations with external financial APIs (KYC, banking, payments, etc.). - Drive performance improvements in high-load environments. - Collaborate with product and engineering leadership on technical decision-making. Must-Have Skills : - 4-7 years of backend development experience in Python and Django/Django Rest Framework. - Deep knowledge of relational databases, query optimization, and scaling. - Hands-on experience with system design, caching, rate limiting, and error handling. - Strong experience working in fintech and Software Development ecosystems is mandatory. Good-to-Have Skills : - Familiarity with asynchronous task queues (Celery, RabbitMQ). - Containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes). - Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms. Responsibilities : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality Python solutions. - Develop and maintain Python-based web applications and APIs using Flask, Django, or FastAPI frameworks. - Integrate data storage solutions using MongoDB or other preferred databases. - Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code to ensure the overall performance and scalability of applications. - Implement security measures and data protection to safeguard sensitive information. - Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs and issues promptly. - Optimise applications for maximum speed and responsiveness. - Deploy and host Python applications or APIs on cloud platforms or servers.
