Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Academic Counselor with prior experience in the study abroad sector to join our team at the Edappal branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding students through the entire admission process to foreign universities, ensuring a smooth and successful application journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end counseling to students regarding international education options (UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.)
• Understand student requirements and offer personalized guidance on universities, courses, and application procedures
• Handle inquiries via calls, walk-ins, and online platforms
• Maintain follow-up with potential leads and convert them into enrollments
• Assist students with application documentation, visa processes, and interview preparation
• Stay updated with changing visa guidelines and university requirements
• Collaborate with the admissions and operations team for smooth processing
• Participate in seminars, student meetups, and promotional events when required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in study abroad counseling is mandatory
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred: Education, Business, or related fields)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent convincing and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of visa requirements and admission criteria for major study destinations
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
