Position: SAP ABAP Developer S/4HANA with SAP TPM Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai/Trivandrum/Kochi/Noida/Pune Experience: 8 to 15 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Role Summary: We are hiring a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with expertise in S/4HANA and SAP TPM (Trade Promotion Management) . The ideal candidate will have strong ABAP technical skills, hands-on experience with S/4HANA capabilities, and a good understanding of TPM processes used in Consumer Goods or Retail domains. Key Responsibilities: Develop and enhance SAP ABAP solutions within the S/4HANA and TPM modules. Create custom developments using CDS Views, AMDP, OData services , and Fiori elements . Collaborate with business and functional teams to understand TPM-related requirements (promotion planning, claims, fund management, etc.). Work on IDOCs, BAPIs, BADIs, SmartForms , and enhancements related to TPM functionalities. Provide technical support for TPM applications and troubleshoot issues in promotion lifecycle. Must-Have Skills: 8+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience. Strong exposure to S/4HANA development (ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP). Experience with SAP TPM (Trade Promotion Management) configuration understanding and technical implementation. Familiarity with promotion planning, claims management, fund planning in TPM. Knowledge of SAP SD, MM modules integration with TPM. Good to Have: Experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or Retail domain . Basic functional knowledge of SAP CRM or BW in TPM reporting context. Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 development. Agile or DevOps project experience. Key Skills: SAP TPM, CRM Roles & Responsibilities Designing, developing, and configuring SAP TPM solutions Supporting the current TPM solution with upgrades, enhancements, and future projects Participating in future tool implementations to support Trade Promotion Optimization and Revenue Growth Management Troubleshooting customer-reported issues and assisting users with day-to-day support Analysing complex business problems to provide solution alternatives and recommendations Partnering closely with business SMEs to deliver and support required solutions, developing systems to parallel overall business strategies Gathering and analysing business requirements, translating requirements into functional and technical solutions Driving enhancements and contributing to projects across all phases including requirements, design, development, testing, training, implementation, and support Creating and maintaining functional specifications, configuration documents, and other documentation Developing and executing test plans including unit and integration testing and coordination of user testing Working collaboratively with an extended team of SAP functional and technical resources Experience Required: Overall relevant functional experience could range between 5 - 10 years Minimum 3 years of experience on SAP TPM systems Bachelor's degree in technology/engineering related field Strong hands-on configuration experience, particularly in S4 pricing, Trade Promotions (TPM), Trade Funds (TFM), & Trade Claims (TCM) Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, solve problems relating to SAP TPM Strong verbal and written communication; Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, critical thinking and innovation. Consumer Products industry experience or process manufacturing industries. SAP ABAP troubleshooting knowledge. Contributed to multiple SAP TPM implementations. Other Considerations: (Physical Demands/Unusual Working Conditions). Participation in an on-call rotation for support. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in technology/engineering related field
