Role & responsibilities Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, documents and maintains applications systems, working on moderately complex to highly complex work tasks or project assignments. Gathers, analyzes and translates business and non-functional requirements into a solution design. May lead meetings to define business requirements and technical solutions. Manages tasks, estimates resources, establishes timelines and prioritizes work. Designs, develops to specifications and maintains application code in accordance with the current development and project management methodologies and practices. May act as a source for direction, training and guidance for less experienced departmental staff. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and experience. 5+ years relevant implementation / enhancement in the field of SAP S4 or SAP ECC. Ability to apply complex principles, theories and concepts of the technical discipline and provide solutions to a wide range of complex tasks, projects and problems Advanced knowledge and proficiency with systems, processes and development, or technical disciplines in a specific field. Ability to participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 service requirement. Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously. Overview The SAP S4 Migration is a comprehensive, multi-year program spanning over four years, aimed at modernizing the current SAP PIRT landscape. This initiative covers various regions including MENA, LATAM, PGCS, APAC, and Europe. The goal of this program is to prepare the SAP system for the future, aligning it with PepsiCo's digital transformation journey. The project involves planning, executing, and overseeing the successful migration of data and business processes from existing SAP ECC systems to S/4HANA. This will include designing remediation of deprecated functionalities, design new functionalities for obsolete functionalities, executing data migration objects, and ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the process. This will also be working in close collaboration with technical and business stakeholders to align goals and expectations. The project aims to replace legacy systems by implementing the SAP S/4 HANA business suite.
