Role Overview

SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling) Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Implementations:

  Lead and oversee large-scale SAP FICO implementation, rollout, and support projects as a functional expert.

• Strategic Advisor:

  Act as a trusted advisor to clients, designing robust SAP FICO solutions aligned with business strategy.

• Comprehensive Configuration:

  Drive comprehensive SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, SPL) and SAP CO (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, PC, PA) configuration.

• Develop Specifications:

  Develop complex functional specifications for bespoke solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

• Mentor Teams:

  Mentor and guide junior to mid-level functional consultants, fostering their professional development.

• Stakeholder Management:

  Manage key stakeholder relationships, influencing decisions and ensuring project success.

• Quality Assurance:

  Oversee and ensure the quality of all testing phases (unit, integration, UAT) and data migration activities.

• Stay Current:

  Stay ahead of emerging SAP technologies (e.g., S/4HANA Finance) and industry best practices to advise clients effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant IT field.
• 10-12 years of extensive hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant.
• Proven experience with at least 1-2 full lifecycle, end-to-end SAP FICO implementations in complex environments.
• Deep expertise in SAP FI and CO module configuration and customization, including their various sub-modules.
• Strong understanding of SAP FICO integration points with other modules (MM, SD, PP).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage large projects, lead teams, and effectively communicate with senior stakeholders.
