Salesforce Developer

This is a contractor role for an initial 6-month period with the possibility of renewal. About the role: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce (SF) Developer to become a part of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in developing and implementing Salesforce solutions. As an SF Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, customizing, and maintaining our Salesforce platform to align with the changing needs of our organization and customers. Your responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for SF. - Design, develop, and customize SF solutions within the platform to streamline sales processes and enhance user experience. - Develop and maintain custom Apex code and Lightning components. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. - Work with stakeholders to prioritize and implement Salesforce enhancements and feature requests. - Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of SF solutions. - Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs related to SF implementations. - Keep abreast of Salesforce platform updates and best practices to enhance our Salesforce solutions continuously. Desirable: Prior experience with CPQ implementations. Who you are: - Minimum of 5+ years of Salesforce Development experience. - A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. - Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II, Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Certified Administrator. - Extensive experience in developing and implementing Salesforce solutions. - Proficiency in Salesforce development tools and technologies, including Apex, Lightning Web Components. - Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems using APIs, middleware, and web services. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira is a plus. - Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience is beneficial.
