Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to lead our growth initiatives in Coimbatore.

This role requires a combination of field sales expertise and technical acumen to connect with the end users effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a good engineering background and a proven track record in field sales within the machine tools or cutting tools or work holding products or tool holder sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales: Engage in direct, personal visit-based selling with customers, as per pre-set schedules and achieve sales targets

  • Sales Support: Facilitate, coordinate, and support in achieving targets.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement both short-term and long-term sales plans.

  • Customer Engagement: Actively add new customers while nurturing existing relationships across India.

  • Resource Allocation: Ensure optimal use of resources for financially balanced operations.

  • Market Coverage: Cover a wide range of customer segments, including Aerospace, Automobile OEMs and Auto part makers, Machine Tool OEMs, Power Equipment, and other manufacturing industries.

  • Travel: This role requires extensive travel across Coimbatore and rest of the Tamilnadu.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 6+ years of field sales experience in machine tools or cutting tools or work holding products, or tool holders.

  • Adequate process engineering knowledge and ability to engage meaningfully with the end-users.

  • Excellent customer relationship management skills and ability to implement systematic sales schedules.

  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
