Location: Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh Experience: 5 to 8 years CTC Range: INR 35,000 - INR 50,000/month + Travel Allowance + Performance Incentives Type: Full-time | On-site Position Summary : We are seeking a Sales Manager with deep experience in short shelf-life product distribution (e.g., breads, buns, cupcakes) to drive General Trade expansion. This position will recruit, train, and lead district-level sales teams and onboard daily-ordering distributors and commission agents. Reporting To: Director - Sales & Distribution Collaborates With: Factory Dispatch Manager, Accounts, HR (for hiring sales reps), Marketing Team Key Responsibilities - Appoint distributors and commission agents in every district of Coastal Andhra - Lead and mentor a team of Sales Reps and District Sales Officers - Drive daily primary and secondary sales with strong route planning - Set and review monthly sales targets; prepare reports and forecasts - Manage in-market product freshness, merchandising, and stock rotation - Work closely with production team to align dispatch with demand - Provide competitor insights, promotional ideas, and retail feedback Candidate Profile - Graduate, with 5+ years of GT sales experience in FMCG (preferably perishable goods) - Proven team handling and channel appointment track record V M Bakery Products Pvt. Ltd. - Strong understanding of route planning, beat creation, and rural penetration - Comfortable with Excel-based MIS, WhatsApp-based reporting
