Job Description

As a Sales Manager-South specializing in Ansys software, you will be responsible for leveraging your 5 to 10 years of CAE/CAD software sales experience to cultivate key customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, negotiate deals, and oversee a small team of sales engineers. Your base will be in Bangalore, reporting to the business leader in Hyderabad, where you will operate independently to seek new business prospects and resolve customer concerns efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include promoting and expanding the Ansys software product portfolio, establishing and nurturing enduring relationships with strategic clients, recruiting and mentoring sales engineers, conducting market analysis to formulate sales strategies, and focusing on acquiring new clients. Collaborating closely with support, marketing, and Ansys teams will be essential to ensure effective pre and post-sales support, drive targeted campaigns, and maintain harmonious working relationships. In this role, your success will be measured by your ability to acquire new customers, secure long-term strategic partnerships, collaborate with technical and marketing teams to develop tailored campaigns, meet sales revenue targets, and provide valuable client feedback for product development and marketing enhancements. Your engineering background, result-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, and capacity to work autonomously and under pressure will be crucial for achieving success in this role. Furthermore, your interest or understanding of industries such as Electronics, Automotive, Industrial Equipment & Rotating Machinery, Material and Chemical Process, Health Care, and Civil Engineering will be advantageous.
