Role & responsibilities As a Social Compliance Auditor, you will be responsible for the application of social regulatory requirements and principles against established standards and protocols. The position requires strong communication. You will be initiating and conducting on-site audit activities at our clients. You will be responsible for the document review as well as preparing and distributing your audit findings in an audit report on time. Role & responsibilities: Deliver 3rd Party audits of SA 8000 on behalf of DNV as an APSCA Part 3 qualified Team Leader Interact directly with customers at all levels of management in developing timely, complete and accurate reports of their current level of compliance or implementation of their management system Document and report audit activities and results, including SAI Tool Reporting Timely approvals of reports and issue of certificates Ability to manage Key Customers Supporting the sales team on technical aspects Familiarity with use of digital tools Maintain appropriate audit credentials and pursue advancement of those credentials and other related credentials as needed The preferable location is Hyderabad and we are open for candidates from Chennai/ Bangalore/ Delhi as well. Job Summary: We are looking for a Group Compliance Head with 15 to 20 years of experience in compliance management, audits, and regulatory adherence. The ideal candidate should hold an MBA in HR or an MSW and possess strong knowledge of labour laws, ethical compliance, and industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: Training & Awareness Conduct training sessions on health & safety, PPE awareness, environment compliance, and SA8000:2014. Organize training on chemical handling, SPT roles & responsibilities, and emergency evacuation awareness. Ensure training evaluation & feedback processes are maintained. Compliance & Legal Documentation Maintain and update factory licenses, inter-state migrant licenses, pollution control board certificates, and other regulatory documents. Oversee legal documentation renewal and compliance with local and international regulations. Regulatory Compliance Stay updated with industry-specific certifications such as OEKO-TEX, GOTS, and ISO 9001. Assist in obtaining necessary permits, licenses, and certifications for the companys operations. Employee & Committee Management Maintain compliance-related employee records, including salary statements, ID cards, attendance, and grievances. Monitor committees such as Worker Force Committee, Grievance Committee, H&S Committee, and ICC Committee. Ensure compliance with child labor policies, PPE register, and employee suggestion records. Required Skills: Strong knowledge of labour laws and compliance standards. Experience in internal audits and risk management. Excellent communication and training skills. Job Summary - To lead and manage the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of SA8000 standards in the organization. This role ensures that the company complies with international social accountability standards, local labour laws, and internal policies, thereby promoting ethical working conditions and sustainable practices within the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Implementation & Compliance: Prepare the site for internal and external SA8000 audits. Lead the implementation and maintenance of SA8000 management systems across the organization. Ensure compliance with all SA8000 requirements, including child labour, forced labour, health & safety, freedom of association, discrimination, disciplinary practices, working hours, remuneration, and management systems. Audit & Certification: Prepare the site for internal and external SA8000 audits. Coordinate with certifying bodies and support surveillance audits and recertification processes. Conduct internal social compliance audits and facilitate closure of non-conformities. Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver SA8000 awareness and training programs for employees and contract workers. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with SA8000 requirements. Generate periodic reports on SA8000 performance metrics, grievance redressal, and continuous improvement initiatives. Policy & Procedure Development: Develop and revise policies and procedures related to labour and human rights in line with SA8000 standards. Work closely with HR, Legal, and EHS teams to align social accountability policies with broader organizational objectives. Key Skills: Strong knowledge of SA8000 standards and national/international labour laws. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to conduct training, facilitate discussions, and resolve conflicts. High level of integrity, objectivity, and attention to detail. Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and audit handling Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Industrial Relations, or a related field. Certification or training in SA8000 implementation is preferred. Minimum 815 years of relevant experience in social compliance, preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical setting. Proven experience in SA 8000 implementation and audits, labour compliance.
