Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain

  LAN, WAN, and cloud network architectures

  .
• Configure and manage

  routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers

  .
• Ensure

  network security

  by implementing

  firewall policies, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems

  .
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize connectivity.
• Manage

  IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, and routing protocols

  (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Implement and maintain

  wireless networks

  and ensure secure access control.
• Work with

  cloud networking solutions

  (AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network, GCP Networking).
• Conduct

  network performance tuning, capacity planning, and traffic analysis

  .
• Automate network tasks using

  Python, Bash, or Ansible

  .
• Maintain

  network documentation, topology diagrams, and policies

  .
• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to enforce

  network security best practices

  .
• Stay up to date with the latest

  networking technologies and security threats

  .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with

  networking protocols

  (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs).
• Hands-on experience with

  firewalls and security appliances

  (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point).
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting

  Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba

  networking devices.
• Knowledge of

  cloud networking

  (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Familiarity with

  network automation tools

  (Ansible, Terraform, Python).
• Strong understanding of

  network security principles

  (IDS/IPS, Zero Trust, NAC).
• Experience with

  wireless networking (Wi-Fi 6, WPA3, Cisco Meraki, Aruba)

  .
• Proficiency in using

  network monitoring tools

  (Nagios, SolarWinds, Wireshark, PRTG).
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
