You will be responsible for reviewing ceded/assumed premium, commission, losses & IBNR results from the reinsurance system. Ensuring accurate accounting for premiums, claims, commissions, and reserves will be a key part of your role. You will also be preparing, reviewing, and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, along with journal entries to correct any discrepancies in financial records. Maintaining proper transaction records and ensuring accurate consolidation of financial data for GL reconciliation will be essential. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of internal and external regulatory reporting filings. Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting functions will be a part of your responsibilities. You should be comfortable working as part of a larger finance team and interact effectively with other departments such as underwriting, claims, and actuarial teams. Collateral review and management will also be within your scope of work. To excel in this role, you must possess good written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities. To be eligible for this position, you need a Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience for Assistant Manager (AM) and 7+ years of experience for Lead Assistant Manager (LAM) in reinsurance accounting. A strong understanding of GAAP and insurance industry-specific accounting practices is necessary. Proficiency in MS Excel (including IF functions, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, PIVOT, INDEXMATCH), PowerPoint, and accounting software is essential. Experience in the Reinsurance/Insurance domain, particularly in Sapiens, is preferred. Extensive knowledge of the US insurance and Insurance/Reinsurance Finance is an added advantage for this role.,

Senior Analyst Reinsurance, Assurant-GCC, India The Senior Analyst will be a member a transformation team within the Reinsurance division to drive the successful execution of the AIM Reimagine initiative. This role will execute project plans, task lists, according to agreed upon timelines. The Senior Analyst will assist the project manager with liaising between AIM system users and developers, facilitating effective communication, issue resolution, and prioritization of enhancements. Key responsibilities will include coordinating user acceptance testing, ensuring data accuracy, maintaining audit documentation, and overseeing Go-Live readiness. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in reinsurance finance and operations, working cross-functionally to deliver system enhancements and drive process improvements. What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job? Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document system requirements to support reinsurance finance workflows and reporting needs Lead and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for AIM system changes and enhancements, ensuring functionality meets business requirements and data accuracy standards. Communicate with IT and reinsurance operations team to update system rules effectively Perform reconciliations between Assurant system and client data and able to extract details needed Create Alteryx workflows to help automate manual process related to enhancing process improvements within AIM Reimagine Work with Management to ensure detailed tasks are being updated and managed per the expected timelines Monitor and validate data flows between AIM and downstream systems, identifying and troubleshooting discrepancies in financial and operational data.
