Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving the yearly budgeted sales and profit & reviewing the same monthly.
  • Drive market coverage, identify new sectors or applications.
  • Identify and prospect potential customers and develop leads through various channels, including references and contacts.
  • Meet with customers in person to demonstrate products or services, answer their questions, and explain the benefits of the products or services.
  • Drive VAP business growth.
  • Plan & execute key strategic initiatives to ensure the Business Unit meets/exceeds budgeted revenue, margin, and EBITDA goals.
  • Own Large Customer Accounts in the region as SPOC.
  • Responsible for Negotiation, Pricing, agreements, and contracts for the business & ensuring expected margin levels.
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions to stay up to date on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends to effectively communicate product benefits to customers.
  • Plan and execute marketing activities, training programs for contractors and customer meetings.
  • Oversee & monitor the resolution of issues with customers and/or teams if there are any escalations.
  • Provide periodic feedback to the team, identify development and ensure their skill and capability upgradation.
  • Driving performance review culture in organization (Order Intake/ Billing/ Accounts Receivables/ Project Pipelines) to deliver healthy business (Volume/ Revenue/ Margins/ Account Receivables).
  • Create P&L awareness in the team and take decisions in the best interest of COMPANY.
  • Ensure Digitization- Adoption of IT Systems (Salesforce).
  • Be abreast of changing market scenarios, competitor pricing, customer sentiments, technological advancements, new product lines, etc.
  • Formulate yearly plans for the Business, based on past trends, business intelligence, and the market trends.
  • Define short- and long-term product portfolio and strategy including growth/ exit plans in existing products (basis performance).
  • Adhere to Discipline and company Value.
