Role & responsibilities

Role Summary:

Regional Manager Industrial Lubricants Sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans and strategies for the assigned region to meet or exceed business goals.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage area sales managers and their teams to maximize sales performance.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in industrial segments such as manufacturing, power, mining, and heavy machinery.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, technical, logistics, and finance departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee regional sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Conduct regular field visits to assess market conditions and provide leadership support.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide training and development opportunities for the sales team.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:

    Bachelors degree in engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience:

    7 to 10 years of sales experience in industrial lubricants or related sectors, with at least 3 years in regional or senior sales management roles.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of industrial lubricant products, applications, and market dynamics.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, ERP systems, and sales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
