Reference Data Specialist IV

You will be responsible for delivering precise and reliable asset pricing services to enhance data integrity and transparency across J.P. Morgan. As a Reference Data Specialist within the Asset Pricing Services team, your role is crucial in capturing and validating bond prices from multiple market sources. You will analyze price movements against market news and expectations to ensure accurate and timely reporting that supports decision-making across the firm. Your expertise in fixed income products and financial markets will enable you to resolve client queries and contribute to the ongoing development of pricing control processes. Your responsibilities will include capturing and validating daily bond prices from third-party sources, analyzing price movements in relation to market news and expectations, liaising with pricing vendors to resolve issues and minimize risk, monitoring systems for job success, collaborating with technology teams to resolve issues, preparing and sending daily pricing and market impact summaries with supporting market news, generating and maintaining month-end index rebalance and composition reports, and producing and analyzing valuation movements within client portfolios daily and monthly. Required qualifications for this role include 4+ years of experience in fixed income-related roles, a demonstrated understanding and interest in stocks, bonds, options, and financial markets/products, advanced MS Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, strong analytical/problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Preferred qualifications include previous experience in managing teams, knowledge of industry activities particularly corporate actions and index benchmarking, pricing vendor knowledge such as Bloomberg and Reuters, and the ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.,
