Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead for Functional and Automation Testing with a strong foundation in Agile processes and leadership abilities. Required Skills & Qualifications : Total Experience : Minimum 8 years in software testing, with at least 4 years in a lead role. Functional Testing : Minimum of 4+ years of experience in functional testing, with a deep understanding of testing methodologies and Agile processes. Automation Experience : 4+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Java/C#/JavaScript and Selenium (less than 4 years also acceptable). Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and clients. Analytical Skills : Strong logical and analytical skills for problem-solving and critical thinking. Team Leadership : Proven experience in managing and leading a team of 4-6 testers, ensuring alignment with project goals and timely delivery. Job Description:- We are looking for a highly skilled manual test engineer to design test-suites and maintain it and will be responsible for testing the software applications to identify defects, working closely with our development team to ensure the delivery of reliable and user-friendly software solutions. Responsibilities:- Should have a good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Communication towards any stakeholder to guide or get knowledge from must be maintained in a delicate measure. Manual testing duties include designing Test-Strategy, provide inputs for Test-Plan, commit Test-Execution and manage Defect-cycle in Test Management tools. Manual testers should be in-line with business requirements and gather application knowledge and provide the same to the Automation testers. Test-implementation has to be taken care of as part of post-build and if necessary, pre- build measure as well. Test-strategy must be as achievable as possible to Behaviour-Driven-Development (BDD) standard. Its not necessary to have BDD knowledge for functional tester but will help if the tester knows the role. Tester may or may not be involved in Test-strategy Review yet should be aware of the standards need to maintain to quality delivery of test-strategies. Test-execution must be committed to good-quality standard, cross-browser testing is very appreciable. Post-regression execution individual tester should be able to report the detailed execution reports to the customers. Any defect unnoticed should be handled in Root-cause-analysis and be provided to customers as an emergency measure. Bug-details maintenance while securing good bug-life-cycle should be committed with quality. Knowledge towards Automation testing is optional yet will help if learnt or eager to grow in this area. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test reports and documentation. Document test results and report defects in a clear and concise manner. Maintain and update test documentation and ensure traceability of test cases to requirements. Requirements:- 2+ years of experience in quality engineering. Bachelor's degree in terms of information technology or any related organization. Experience in Salesforce is a plus. Experience with writing test-strategies. Experience with reviewing test-strategies is a plus. Experience with cross-browser test-execution. Knowledge on XHAR network traffic information will be a value-add.
