React Frontend developer

As a Front End Engineer, your responsibilities will include creating prototypes and high-quality, production-ready React/NextJS front-end single-page applications. You will drive quality forward in code, unit testing, accessibility, performance, and code reviews. Additionally, you will lead an Agile workstream of front-end developers for a project and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues. Building modular layouts, reusable code, and libraries for future use and being involved in existing and new integrations for the platform will also be part of your role. It is understood that candidates may not possess every skill listed below, however, a strong foundation in product ownership and a willingness to learn and grow are encouraged. Key qualifications include solid commercial experience in hands-on React development with a strong grasp of core concepts, experience with serverless development and server-side development using NextJS, and a strong understanding of state management technologies/approaches such as Redux or Flux. Proficiency in TypeScript, semantic HTML5, CSS3 (SASS or LESS), and JavaScript (ES6+), along with experience in unit, end-to-end, and regression testing is required. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, component development using Storybook, and knowledge of current front-end architecture trends and best practices are essential. Experience with Git in a large development team, excellent communication skills, and a proficient understanding of fluid responsive layouts and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility issues are also needed. Commercial experience working on SPA solutions, integrating with various external systems, and willingness to contribute to both large projects and smaller tasks are desired. Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools like Grunt and Webpack is a plus.
