Key Responsibilities: Interface Management & Coordination Manage and coordinate all interfaces involving signaling and telecommunication systems with civil, track, power supply, rolling stock, and SCADA systems. Ensure technical compatibility and alignment across all interfacing systems and disciplines. Represent the project team in client-facing engagements such as: Monthly progress meetings Design and technical reviews Coordination and interface meetings Contractual negotiations Monitor and control project budgets, timelines, resources , and deliverables, ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety requirements. Manage interface between different work packages and teams, ensuring alignment in technical integration and system handover . Support procurement, contract execution, and subcontractor performance management for S&T packages. Prepare regular progress reports and updates to internal leadership and client representatives. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related Engineering discipline (Master’s preferred). 15 to 20 years of experience in delivering signaling and telecommunication systems , preferably in the High speed rail, Rail , Metro, or large infrastructure domain. Proven experience in project management of complex technical systems involving ETCS L2, L1, CBTC, ERTMS, interlocking, SCADA, telecom infrastructure. Strong understanding of applicable international railway standards and protocols. Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage. Experience in working with multinational project teams and managing subcontractors and JV partners . Key Skills and Competencies: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and interfaces simultaneously. Proficient in MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent planning tools. Understanding of contractual frameworks (e.g., FIDIC) and risk management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the testing, commissioning, and validation of communication-based train control systems. This role requires a strong technical background in railway signaling systems and a keen eye for detail to ensure the safety and efficiency of train operations. Key Accountabilities: - Conduct testing and commissioning of CBTC systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications. - Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports for system validation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and project management, to ensure seamless integration of CBTC systems. - Troubleshoot and diagnose issues during testing phases, providing timely solutions to minimize project delays. - Support on-site testing activities, including site inspections and performance evaluations. - Provide technical expertise and guidance during system installations and upgrades. - Maintain thorough documentation of test results, findings, and engineering changes. - Participate in safety and risk assessments, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
