About the Role We are looking for a Software Architect to define and drive the architecture of scalable, cloud-native applications for our product-based software company. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, Redis, Queuing systems, and AWS , with a strong focus on distributed architectures and cloud computing. Key Responsibilities Architect & Design: Build scalable, distributed systems using Node.js, React, and microservices . Technology Leadership: Guide development teams on best practices in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks . Cloud & DevOps: Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.) . Database Optimization: Ensure efficient use of PostgreSQL and Redis for performance and scalability. Performance Optimization: Implement caching strategies (Redis), queuing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS) . Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices and data protection strategies. Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with engineering teams to ensure architectural consistency and best practices. Research & Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and integrate them into our ecosystem. Required Skills & Experience 9+ years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years as a Software Architect . Strong expertise in Node.js, React.js (Next.js a plus), and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks . Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and NoSQL databases . Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services . Experience with event-driven architectures, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, etc.) . Understanding of CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
