Quality Assurance Specialist - Manual & Automation Testing

As a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be joining our team in Bangalore with a primary focus on ensuring product and process excellence. With over 5 years of experience in quality assurance, you will lead comprehensive quality checks, testing strategies, and root cause analysis to deliver defect-free results. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases to maintain product quality standards. You will conduct functional, integration, regression, and system testing based on business and technical requirements, identifying and resolving bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in collaboration with the development team. Analyzing test results and QA metrics will be crucial to monitor and enhance performance. Updating test documentation, QA reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) will be part of your routine. Your role will also involve reviewing technical documents and business requirements to provide feedback and ensure compliance with quality assurance policies and standards. You will actively participate in code reviews, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Additionally, you will contribute to the implementation and enhancement of QA tools, frameworks, and best practices. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC or software testing roles, with a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Agile methodologies. Proficiency in manual and automation testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or similar is required. Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent is essential. A good grasp of databases and the ability to write basic SQL queries for data validation is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities, are necessary. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required, and holding ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications would be advantageous.,
