Quality Assurance Lead || 7+ Yrs

Tasks & Responsibilities (Daily activities):

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving the quality and process adherence of projects execution at Vanderlande. This will be done by (among other activities), auditing and performing milestone and deliverable checks for projects in execution. You would create clear overviews /dashboards with findings, observations and report those towards your stakeholders. Based on reports and trends, it is your task to identify, discuss and implement process improvements. You will actively take the lead in this and work in close cooperation with cross functional team and line management.

You also proactively monitor & follow up the different Vanderlande quality reporting tools and systems. You are the point of contact and liaise with different departments and report on regular basis with the relevant stake holders.

Furthermore, you have an eye for continuous improvement and are able to spot opportunities with respect to cost/lead time reduction and increased efficiency.

Core tasks

• Analyse and identify shortcomings to current processes, tools, and systems, and propose and after approval implement improvements thereof, may act as an independent auditor.
• Manage well-defined, medium complex improvement initiatives with low risks, or contribute to large, complex improvement initiatives
• Interact with peers and middle management, and advise and convince others of own opinions and/or proposals
• Work independently, with regular supervision and alignment with manager when needed
• This job typically operates at the local/country level on complex (cross-functional processes), tools, and systems, or supports global improvement initiatives.
• Perform project execution Milestone Checks
• Perform adherence & quality audits
• Point of contact / Linking pin between projects, technology & supply team
• Reporting/Dashboarding of various process & quality KPIs
• Identify and implement improvements (Process Map)
• Train/Support the respective teams using Project Portal/KPI/omnitracker, etc.
• Align with business improvement managers who own & maintain the process map on the corporate level
• Align with the Vanderlande QA community on the use of corporate data and quality systems

Profile

• Strong knowledge of the total product & project life cycle and a good understanding of Quality Systems and Standards used in engineering and project execution/management environment
• Able to analyze data and define root cause
• Good presentation and reporting skills
• Have a helicopter view and be able to dig into details

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Familiar with change management
