Quality Assurance Executive

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Implementation and Maintenance of Quality Systems, Lean Manufacturing Systems, 5S Methodology:

• Implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with industry standards.
• Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions to ensure consistent quality practices.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives by applying Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Support Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and other lean tools to enhance quality and productivity.
• Collaborate with the production team to streamline processes and eliminate non-value-added activities.
• Promote and enforce the 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) within the production and quality departments.
• Conduct regular 5S audits to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient workplace.
• Train team members on 5S practices and foster a culture of workplace organization and safety.

2. Process Quality Assurance:

• Conduct process audits to identify gaps, inefficiencies, or deviations from the standard.
• Work closely with the production team to establish process controls and eliminate potential issues.

3. Customer Complaint Handling:

• Investigate customer complaints regarding quality issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address and prevent recurring problems.
• Communicate resolutions and updates to customers promptly.

4. Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze quality performance metrics, such as defect rates, scrap rates, and first-pass yield.
• Use statistical tools to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare detailed reports in MS Excel for senior management.
