Quality Analyst (manual + automation)

Azure is looking for someone who is an expert in Quality Analyst with Automation

Responsibilities

Create and execute test cases

Perform functional, application, and regression tests

Troubleshoot test-related issues to determine failure point

Report issues that are clear, concise and in a timely manner to development team

Identify project risks and make recommendations to minimize risk

Escalate project issues to appropriate leadership

Experience working in an Agile environment or knowledge of key Agile principles

Accurately estimate task duration and meet schedules

Write and execute POS test cases

Gather the acceptance criteria from the UAT users to understand the parameters for their

evaluation (These users could be internal to company or external clients)

Share the acceptance criteria with the team and work with them on collecting or creating UAT

test cases

If necessary, train the UAT users on the application

If necessary, be on standby for any assistance during UAT

If necessary, perform some tasks during UAT and present the results to the client or UAT

users for their go/no-go decision

Required Candidate profile

Excellent communication and organization skills

Good written and spoken English skills Combined 5+ years that includes software development or QA experience

At least 3 years experience with manual testing

Strong ability to create test plans

Experience with POS systems preferred

Strong documentation experience

Basic understanding of SQL Server for troubleshooting

POS hardware integration experience preferred

BS in Computer Science is preferred

Experience with QA Automation Tools such as QTP and Selenium is a plus
