Job Description

full-time Mongo DB Developer/Admin

3 to 5 years of MongoDB, Node.js experience

We are looking for an experienced MongoDB developer/DBA who will maintain MongoDB databases while optimizing the performance, security, and the availability of MongoDB clusters. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software design life cycle. They should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the databases to ensure strong security, performance, optimization, and functionality.
Good grasp of MongoDMongoDB aggregation framework
Maintain and configure MongoDB instances
Keep clear documentation of the database setup and architecture
Write procedures for backup and disaster recovery
Ensure that the databases achieve maximum performance and availability
Design indexing strategies
Configure, monitor, and deploy replica sets
Create roles and users and set their permissions
Stay current with the latest technologies and implement secure coding practices.
Help develop and document development activities in the Coding Standards Document.
Collaborate with both offshore and onshore teams to develop features in tandem for our website or internal apps.
Work with different teams on specific projects to implement or integrate new technologies or services.
Ability to work both individually and as part of a team depending on the requirements of the project.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science or relevant field

3+ years experience working with MondoDB.Node.js.
