As an experienced professional in the Finance team, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in overseeing sub-divisional finances. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating with local and global leadership in Operations, Engineering, and the Global Markets Division on various financial aspects such as budget management, business planning, F2B expenses, financial analytics, and firm-wide budget processes. The Global Markets Operations and Engineering Finance team, where you will be a part of, is known for its dynamic and flexible nature. You will constantly adapt to the evolving priorities of the organization by working on regional glidepaths, financial models for business opportunities, and providing insights into budgetary trends. Your role will be crucial in acting as the primary interface between GMBOE and cross-divisional leadership to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategies and initiatives. In order to fulfill your potential, you will need to learn and utilize the firm's financial framework to support organizational funding and enable informed business decisions and delivery. You will co-pilot business decisions based on sound financial criteria, act as a strategic financial advisor, and monitor outcomes to measure performance effectively. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining adherence to budgets, partnering with leadership to enhance financial literacy, managing F2B business expenses, and providing transparency into expense trends. Other key responsibilities include articulating concepts and driving ideas forward with the leadership team, designing and developing financial reports and tracking tools, conducting financial and headcount analysis, influencing senior management presentations, and implementing processes to streamline budgeting and financial planning. As a part of the team, you will be expected to collaborate effectively, lead initiatives to completion, and constantly seek ways to improve processes and develop creative solutions. Basic qualifications for this role include a minimum of 2 years of experience in a corporate environment, strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, organizational skills, proven analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Additionally, you should have an aptitude for building relationships, coordinating across multiple groups and regions, and be a strong team player. Preferred qualifications include a background in finance or budget management, knowledge of Operations & Technology in financial institutions, and experience with tools such as Hyperion Essbase, Alteryx, Tableau, QlikView, and other BI capabilities.
