Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Ensure JLR Quality standards are in place in accordance with CKD processes and get approvals for any deviation from Central Quality team
Drive overall 0MIS/3MIS, Gate Holds, Stop Ships & Warranty campaigns through weekly & monthly forums. Generate 0MIS/3MIS warranty data for vehicle line and liaise with engineering and service for technical issues
Analyse warranty claims from India build and assign to relevant champion. Audit effectiveness of cutoffs provided for manufacturing induced items.
Drive weekly & monthly quality management reviews and prepare reports for the same
Prepare a plan and conduct layered audits for QMS & lean systems in plant
JLR focus point for Steady state production & New Model launches for Supplier Parts & plant quality issues o Produce Concern Report out Sheets (Level 0) for all JLR Supplier Parts Quality issues and add to etracker for dissemination to UK JLR teams (Part Quality and Logistics)
Attend weekly Parts Quality etracker review with UK counterparts, pushing for containment and effective corrective action.
Support WCPA (Standardised vehicle audit process) review and other diverts for issue resolution and escalations with JLT UK or suppliers
Support any on site suppliers and deliver monthly status defect tracker (trend analysis, RAG)
Champion problem solving for Squeak & Rattle issues related to parts quality and raise projects to give feedback for containments and corrective actions
Drive containment and resolution of top incoming Parts Quality issues. Continuous improvement of Supplier, pack shop or Engineering Quality related concerns engaging appropriate JLR resources
