QA Engineer - Automation

You are a proactive and experienced QA Engineer with 4-8 years of expertise in automation testing, API testing using Postman, and hands-on experience validating AI/ML models and working with OpenSearch. You are passionate about delivering high-quality software and thrive in fast-paced, data-driven environments. Your key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test scripts for web, backend, and data-intensive systems. You will create and execute test plans for API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools. You will validate AI/ML model outputs for accuracy, fairness, performance, and edge cases. Additionally, you will develop test strategies for systems using OpenSearch or Elasticsearch, perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across products, identify, log, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, and actively participate in sprint planning, story grooming, and retrospectives. Furthermore, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, automation coverage, and test pipelines. Your required skills include proficiency in automation testing using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks, API testing with tools like Postman, REST Assured, Swagger, scripting/programming in Python, JavaScript, or Java, basic understanding of ML models for AI testing, experience with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch for search validation, familiarity with CI/CD integration tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and version control systems like Git/GitLab/Bitbucket. Preferred qualifications include experience working with large-scale data-driven applications, familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), knowledge of security testing or performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust), exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies, and test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr). Your soft skills include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment, and a detail-oriented mindset with a passion for quality.
