Senior QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Test Strategy and Planning

• Create and manage test strategies and plans for automation (Pega + React applications).
  
• Select and implement appropriate tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured.
  

2. Test Automation Development

• Design and implement robust and scalable test automation frameworks.
  
• Develop modular, reusable test components.
  
• Write and maintain test scripts for backend and UI testing.
  

3. Quality Assurance and Testing

• Conduct integration and regression testing for Pega and React components.
  
• Maintain automation test suites.
  

4. Collaboration

• Work closely with developers, BAs, and testers to align testing with business requirements.
  
• Mentor QA team members and promote best practices.
  

5. CI/CD & DevOps Integration

• Integrate test suites into GitLab/Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Ensure automated tests run with every build and deployment.
  

6. Continuous Improvement

• Keep up with industry trends and introduce tools/methodologies to improve test efficiency.
  

Preferred Experience:

• Experience testing

  Pega

  and

  React

  applications
• Strong understanding of automation branching strategies and DevOps workflows
  

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in QA Automation
  
• Strong hands-on experience in

  Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured

• Good understanding of

  GitLab, Jenkins

  , and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in designing custom automation frameworks
