Hi, Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer Java, Selenium, Rest Assured Job Location: Chennai (Onsite Only) Shift Timing: 11:30 AM 8:30 PM IST Experience Required: 8+ Years Work Mode: Onsite only (No WFH) Key Skills: Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, GitLab, Jenkins, Test Automation Framework Design, CI/CD, Automation Testing, Pega Testing (Good to Have), React Testing (Good to Have) Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in automation testing and framework development to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java-based automation, strong knowledge of Selenium and Cucumber, and hands-on experience in integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities: 1. Test Strategy and Planning Create and manage test strategies and plans for automation (Pega + React applications). Select and implement appropriate tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured. 2. Test Automation Development Design and implement robust and scalable test automation frameworks. Develop modular, reusable test components. Write and maintain test scripts for backend and UI testing. 3. Quality Assurance and Testing Conduct integration and regression testing for Pega and React components. Maintain automation test suites. 4. Collaboration Work closely with developers, BAs, and testers to align testing with business requirements. Mentor QA team members and promote best practices. 5. CI/CD & DevOps Integration Integrate test suites into GitLab/Jenkins CI/CD pipelines. Ensure automated tests run with every build and deployment. 6. Continuous Improvement Keep up with industry trends and introduce tools/methodologies to improve test efficiency. Preferred Experience: Experience testing Pega and React applications Strong understanding of automation branching strategies and DevOps workflows Mandatory Requirements: Minimum 8 years of experience in QA Automation Strong hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured Good understanding of GitLab, Jenkins , and CI/CD pipelines Experience in designing custom automation frameworks If youre a driven automation expert looking for a challenging role in a fast-paced environment, apply now!
