Purchase Manager

As a Purchase Manager at Town and City Developers, you will be responsible for developing an effective purchasing strategy to streamline procurement processes. You will review and process purchase orders, manage the purchasing team, and maintain records of goods ordered and received. Negotiating prices and contracts with suppliers, selecting prospective vendors, and evaluating them based on quality, timeliness, and price will be crucial aspects of your role. Building and maintaining relationships with vendors, scheduling deliveries, and ensuring timely fulfillment of orders will be key responsibilities. You will research and evaluate vendors to compare pricing and services, coordinate with fellow managers to monitor inventory, and determine supply needs. Additionally, you will be required to ensure the quality of procured items, address any problems that may arise, and stay updated with trends in procurement. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, research, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail is crucial for success in managing procurement processes effectively. The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12-18 years of experience as a purchasing manager in high-rise construction, both residential and commercial. Experience in using procurement software and databases, as well as supervisory experience, will be beneficial.
