Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and Procurement: Identifying and selecting reliable suppliers for fabrics, trims (buttons, zippers, labels, etc.), and other garment accessories based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Vendor Management: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules.
• Purchase Order Management: Creating and processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring timely receipt of materials to meet production needs.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels of accessories and fabrics, minimizing stockouts and optimizing inventory costs.
• Quality Control :Ensuring that all purchased materials meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of purchases, invoices, and delivery information, and preparing reports on procurement activities.
• Cost Management: Negotiating favorable pricing with suppliers and identifying opportunities to reduce procurement costs.
• Coordination: Collaborating with design, production, and quality control teams to ensure that all accessory needs are met.
• Market Research: Staying informed about market trends, new materials, and potential suppliers.

Skills Required:

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and trims.
• Ability to analyze market trends and data.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Experience:

• Typically requires 2-5 years of experience in garment purchasing or a related field.
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement software is often preferred.
• Experience in vendor development and relationship management is also valuable.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
