Cilicant is seeking a strategic and experienced Finance Head / CFO to lead the companys finance and accounts operations across its India and US entities . The CFO will be responsible for financial planning, profitability management, cash flow optimization, compliance, and overall financial control while also acting as a bridge between the MD and investors . This role requires strong leadership, expertise in Financial strategy, public issue, accounts management, and US GAAP and EXIM finance. Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy, Planning & Leadership Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with Cilicants growth plan for 30% year-on-year growth. Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, profitability analysis, and cash flow management. Drive cost optimization across raw material procurement, operations, and supply chain finance. Provide financial insights and decision support to the MD and leadership team. Establish and monitor financial KPIs to ensure business profitability and sustainability. Accounts & Compliance Management Oversee accounts operations, bookkeeping, and financial controls. Ensure compliance with Indian and US financial regulations, including US GAAP, GST, TDS, and SEBI norms. Manage taxation, audits, transfer pricing, and statutory reporting. Optimize working capital management, including receivables, payables, and inventory accounting. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Fundraising, M&A & Public Issue Lead (in coming time) capital-raising initiatives, including debt, equity financing, and IPO preparations. Evaluate and execute mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. Maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions. US & International Finance Oversee financial operations for both India and US entities . Manage EXIM finance , including international transactions, forex management, and cross-border taxation. Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards. Technology, IT & Process Automation Drive digital transformation in finance and accounts, including ERP implementation and automation. Ensure financial data integrity, cybersecurity, and process automation in IT functions. Implement advanced financial analytics and reporting tools for better decision-making. Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management Prepare and present financial reports to investors, board members, and stakeholders. Develop financial models and business cases to support investor relations and business expansion. Act as a strategic advisor to the MD on financial and operational matters. Preferred candidate profile Experience: 9-13 years in finance, accounts, and strategy, with at least 3 years in a CFO or leadership or Finance Controller (of company) role. Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, profitability analysis, and accounting controls. Expertise in public issue (IPO), mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and fundraising. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, Indian accounting standards, international finance, and EXIM transactions. Experience in investor relations, banking, and capital market transactions. Proficiency in financial automation, ERP systems, and digital transformation. Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Candidates should have at least 7-8 years of prior experience in Equity Capital Market (ECM)/Merchant Banking Division, including Valuation related services. The candidate shall have hands on experience of the following areas: IPOs/Rights Issue/QIP/Open Offer/ Buyback/ Delisting Restructuring Analysis and Examining Financial Statements Business/Regulatory/Transaction/ESOP Valuations Valuation of Goodwill and Other Intangible Assets Role & Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of planning and managing engagements, including data gathering, research, financial analysis, and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials, pitch decks, regulatory presentation, transaction execution, financial due-diligence and other merchant banking activities. The candidate will be working directly with the client and the senior team. As the company continue to grow, the candidates input will be essential for technical matters and operational needs. Qualifications and Requirements: Experience of 7-8 years within the core ECM & Valuation group of a leading Merchant Bank. Master’s degree in Finance - CA/CFA/MBA(Finance) Dual Certifications shall be preferred. Well versed with applicable SEBI, Income Tax, FEMA Regulations Good quantitative, written, presentation and communication skills. Problem solving ability and able to deliver in given timeline

Role & responsibilities: Promote Pre-IPO Investment Ideas Actively reach out to potential clients through telephonic conversations, virtual meets, and in-person meetings to introduce and pitch Pre-IPO investment opportunities. Educate prospects on the benefits, risks, and structure of investing in unlisted companies ahead of their public offering. Support Sales Channels Partner with regional branches, sub-brokers, RM teams, and third-party partners to generate leads, provide support material, and facilitate deal closures. Help branches organize client meets, Pre-IPO awareness sessions, and focused pitch discussions. Relationship Building Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients through timely updates, ongoing communication, and portfolio guidance. Understand investor preferences and risk appetite to suggest the right Pre-IPO opportunities. Product Knowledge & Pitching Develop in-depth knowledge of unlisted companies, their financials, growth potential, and Pre-IPO offering terms. Create and deliver compelling product pitches backed by data, research, and industry analysis. Act as a Subject Matter Expert Be the internal go-to expert for anything related to Pre-IPO deals supporting peers, client queries, and sales team training. Stay updated on SEBI regulations, listing timelines, and market developments in the unlisted space. Qualifications: Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, or related fields. Freshers are welcome, or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in sales, investment advisory, client servicing, or capital markets. Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present investment ideas clearly and convincingly. Confident in holding one-on-one conversations with HNI clients and prospects. Learning Attitude A genuine interest in financial products and a strong desire to learn more about investments, Pre-IPO markets, and investor behavior. Market Awareness A basic understanding of how the stock market works, key investment terms, and the role of equity is preferred. Awareness of startup funding rounds and valuation concepts will be an advantage (but not mandatory). Self-Driven & Collaborative Proactive and result-oriented individual who can work independently while collaborating well with the broader sales and product teams. Ability to take ownership of tasks and meet client and business expectations efficiently.
