Responsibilities

Design and fabricate orthopedic and prosthetic devices as per patient measurements and physician prescriptions.
Interview and assess patients to identify unique needs and explain treatment plans.
Measure or take impressions of patients to design braces, artificial limbs, or other supportive devices, ensuring optimal physiological function and comfort.
Construct prosthetics and orthotics by hand or supervise their construction by medical appliance technicians.
Instruct patients on proper use and maintenance of devices.
Provide ongoing care, adjustments, and repairs of devices throughout treatment.
Willingness to travel and provide services in camps and outreach programs.
