Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Conduct requirement-gathering sessions and ensure clear understanding of client expectations.
    • Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Project Management:

    • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with customer requirements and business goals.
    • Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
    • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Manage cross-functional teams, including developers, consultants, and analysts.
    • Allocate resources effectively and ensure team adherence to best practices and quality standards.
    • Conduct regular team meetings and provide guidance to resolve any blockers or issues.
  • SAP Understanding:

    • Participate in client discussions related to SAP systems (SAP S/4HANA, NetWeaver etc.).
    • Understand basic SAP processes to facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
    • Support consultants in aligning SAP configurations and functionalities with business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in IT project management, with at least some exposure to SAP environments.
  • Proven experience in managing projects and leading diverse teams.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business language.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of SAP Functional modules or SAP Processes for customer / internal team interactions.
  • Experience with project tracking tools.
  • Client-facing experience in a consulting or managed services environment.
